Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors Anodized Aluminum Dutch Oven. So this is a really great way to cook up any big meal, maybe you want to make some stew, fried chicken, maybe make some bread, biscuits, whatever it might be out on the campsite. This will allow you to do it. The nice thing about having an anodized aluminum Dutch oven rather than a cast iron one is that it's about a third of the weight, but it still allows you to cook up stuff nice and evenly. And again, also make baked goods while you're out in the great outdoors without an oven.
So very versatile, very useful. A lot of folks really like this. The nice thing also is that it doesn't have any nonstick coating, but it's still going to give you that nonstick wear. It's a nice, smooth surface since it's anodized aluminum. You don't have to worry about there being any contamination of your food from aluminum or anything like that. It's going to keep everything safe, but also give you that nice, smooth nonstick surface, and there's no coating or anything that's going to chip off or get in your food either.
It has the two handles to make it easy to transport around. We'll also have our lid to make a nice tight seal with our Dutch oven as well. This has about five quarts of capacity. It's a 12 inch diameter Dutch oven. There is one size that is a little bit bigger.
That is the 14 inch, and that would be an eight quart capacity and then there's also a smaller one that's, I think, about a three quart capacity and that's a 10 inch.So this is the middle of the road, the Goldilocks as far as size goes. You can see there are the three little feet on the bottom, so it helps to give it a little stability, helps to get it off the ground a little bit more. It weighs just about six pounds, so it's pretty easy to transport and it just helps to have a really nice way to cook up your favorite meal on the campfire. It is covered by a limited lifetime warranty, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the GSI Outdoors Dutch Oven. I hope that this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right one for you.
We do have a lot of other GSI accessories in camp and cookware and all kinds of other good stuff here at etrailer.com, so be sure to check it out. Thanks for watching.

This was not to be available until Feb
I was asked if I wanted an alternate for earlier delivery
Outstanding! Who does that?!?
I waited and it got delivered to my brother as a gift New Years
Great product and amazing communication and service from etrailer!!!!
Thanks again!
Lightweight alternative to a cast iron Dutch oven. I’ve been wanting this for awhile. I was disappointed with the quality. The finish of the lid doesn’t look even and the edges doesn’t look like it’s been anodized.
Will, the customer service rep who helped me with my order was phenomenal. Needed a Dutch oven overnighted for a last minute backpacking trip, and Will and Etrailers came through in the clutch. Order arrived next day, just in time, and was just what I needed. 5 stars, solid dude, excellent customer service!
Can’t wait to cook in this baby, it’s going to be perfect for my truck camping set up.
