Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. We're going to take a really quick look at the GSI Outdoors camping cook pot. This is going to be a nice, old fashioned, enameled coated cookware to get your sauces going, to make a pot of chili, maybe roast chicken or something else over your cook fire or I've also seen people who use this as a way to keep any kind of compost, scraps and things like that. The thing that's really nice about it is again that enamel coating that gives it a really rugged look, kind of old timey. It's really just appealing and should help to keep it from corroding or any kind of damage for years to come.Let's take a closer look at it.
Talk a little bit more about the size and what you can expect from this. Should come with the lid to keep everything nice and contained. It holds about three quarts of liquid. As far as the diameter, it's about eight inches. We've got the handle built in here.
It will stand up on its own. It pops into place, so that makes it easy for it to be transportable. Whenever that's up, the lid back on, that handle comes up about, I'd say about 11 or 10 and a half inches. As far as the height, without the handle, it's about six inches high to the spot that holds it in place.All in all, really nice looking cook pot, should be a great way to serve up any kind of your favorite dishes over the campfire. You can also use it indoors as well.

I was excited to order this one for my daughter for her camp gear as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately the item came chipped the first time. However, etrailer customer service jumped right in and sent me another one right away. They even listened to me to be sure it was packed better the second time. Love the product and the superior customer care.

The GSI 3-quart enameled kettle arrived in perfect condition, and both kettle and lid were wrapped. It’s a solid piece with a smooth interior and no breakthrough rust spots. Stick with GSI for quality but inexpensive cookware. I had earlier ordered a 6-quart enameled pot from some unknown manufacturer online — not only was it thinner and with a rusty spot on the interior, but they sent the wrong size — they sent a 4 quart.
