Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the GSI Outdoors four person Pinnacle Camper Cook Set. Now this four person camper set will come with the essentials for preparing and eating food while you're camping. The nice compact nesting design of this allows for camping cooks set for four in a very small footprint. The nesting capability makes the storage and transport real simple.
I am going to go through all the parts that comes with it and show you how they all go together. But basically to start with, comes all in this nice storage bag that you can also use as a welded sink. I'm going to show you at the end when everything's out of it. Basically, that can be used as a wash basin and as a storage container at the same time.If we unhook our strap up here at the top, first part we remove is the fry pan. It's a nine inch diameter frying pan and the frying pan and the pots, there's two of them, they do use a nonstick coating on the pots and the pans.
This will enhance heat distribution, reduce any hotspots and of course will make cooking and cleaning a lot easier. The next items we pull is there's two of them. They're strainer lids and they're designed for the two different sized pots, the smaller pot and the larger pot, but basically these lids would fit on top of the pots. They have little flip up handles you can use, but the nice thing about them is on the one side, they have straining holes that you can strain out any water, liquids that's in the pots. It comes with two of the straining lids. Now it comes with these four, and they're all shaped. You can see they'll fit into the inside there, but four of these will be the bowls, 14 fluid ounce bowls.
If I take off the lid, you can see, you can slide this out and you can use this as a 14 fluid ounce bowl. You notice what I slid out on the inside as a mug, 14 fluid ounce mug and they have insulated sleeves on it, which is nice because it help keep the beverage at the perfect temperature. And what I took off earlier, it comes with these sip it lids that you just snap onto the mug there and it gives you on each side, a little hole there that you can sip through there. Or if you use it for pouring any boiling water, prevents any spills. And it comes with four of each of those.
And again, they just slide inside each other. The next part is a smaller pot. That's the two liter pot. And again, it's the nonstick coating. And then underneath that there's four different seven and a half inch diameter plates, used for eating on and you can see each one is a different color so you can remember whose plate is which one.And then the last piece is the larger pot, which is the three liter pot. Same way, nonstick coating. Put them all out there. And we had mentioned this in the beginning, it's a storage bag, but it's also a welded sink. You can see at the bottom, they weld in this material here that you can actually put water in here and rinse out any of the dishes or pots and pans. And then when you're done, just dump it out and then it's all used as a storage sack also. The last piece is in one of these mugs here. Comes with a nice folding pot handle. And what that's for is if you notice on both pots, it'll have little connector there. And even on the frying pan has a little connector. Basically, if you take this orange lever, it goes back and forth. There's a little pin right there. You slide this onto there and then pull that back. That then will clip in there and give you a handle. And then you just extend it out by rotating it. Gives you a nice handle, sturdy handle to connect to your frying pan or to your pots. And then to remove it, just slide this, slide it downwards and it'll disconnect. And then there's a little button underneath here that you can fold it into even a smaller spot, drop it right into there. And as I mentioned, the nonstick coating on these pots and pans, that'll help the heat distribution, reduce any hot spots. The aluminum pots and the fry pan are also scratch and abrasion resistance. And it says, designed to serve four people. Total weight on this when we put it all back together, it's just under four pounds, about 3.6 pounds. Again, we'll go backwards. We'll put the three liter. There are three liter and a two liter pot. We'll put our dishes at the bottom there. Take our two liter pot, put it in there. Take the four bowls and mugs, put it in there. And then take our two strainer lids that'll fit inside each other. They would go on top, just like that. Keep your handles out and then your last part is your fry pan. Just turn it upside down, get your two straps, hook it and just like that you got an nice handle to carry everything. But that should do it for the review on this GSI Outdoors four person, Pinnacle Camper Cook Set..
