Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a quick look at the multipurpose cup from ACE Camp. This is a nice addition to your camping pack, especially if you're going to be going solo out into the wild. It can be used as a cup or also as a small cooking pot. So it can be used for a lot of different things.
Let's take a closer look and make sure that this is going to be the right fit for your application.It is a stainless steel double-walled cup, so that's how it can be used over a small cookstove and shouldn't have any issues with taking that heat. Just want to be careful whenever you go to grab this or take it off that heat source that you use a glove or handkerchief or something like that to take it off so you don't burn yourself. The handle's pretty comfortable. It's a little bit noisy because those handles just kind of freely move, but they do lay flat against your cup so it shouldn't take up too much space. You can always stash stuff inside there so it really doesn't cost too much as far as that premium space in your pack.It weighs about two ounces.
It holds 10 fluid ounces of water. As far as size, it's about three inches in diameter and about three and a half inches tall with the handles coming out there. It's now about four and a quarter inch long, and those handles are pretty comfortable. You can get about three fingers in between and hold it pretty comfortably. The nice thing about that double wall is that it's going to keep your morning coffee hot, or if you have a cold beverage, it'll keep water from condensing on the outside.That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the ACE Camp multipurpose double wall cup.
