Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the ACE Camp Gas Can-Style Flasks. So this is going to be a fun way to bring around some libations while you're out on the trail, at your campsite, on a float trip, wherever you might be. It's going to be a fun little gas can style, doesn't really have a rating for gas. I wouldn't suggest it.

It's not really going to get you very far. So definitely something for a more novelty use. But, it's made out of a sturdy stainless steel so it can be sanitized. We don't have to worry about it ever rusting on us and it's also going to be pretty durable. So let's take a little closer look at it.

Something that I like about that is that it has this little handle up at the top so you can easily clip this onto your pack and use a carbineer or, or a little rope or put it on a draw string or something like that. It's also small enough that you can fit it into a pocket or a little side pocket on your backpack or your pack, wherever it might be. It can also fit into your pocket if you choose to do it that way. So if I put this in my pocket, it fits. Not a bad thing. It just is kind of bulky.

So I don't know if you ever would really put it in your pocket, but you can if you want to. So some options as far as how you can carry this little guy. We opened this up. You'll notice the spout is pretty narrow, so it's not a bad idea to pick up the funnel to go with this. That is available separately here at etrailer.com.

It looks like this little guy right here. That's going to make it a lot easier to fill up our fuel can here. Get us going. As that fills, it does kind of create a seal, so you might have to kind of lift up on that funnel to break the, the seal there. Of course, you don't want to fill it too fast . wrong cap . because you don't want to overfill it. You don't want to waste any liquids inside there. So just keep an eye on it or one tip that I found was that if you actually keep a hand on this, and especially for using cold liquid or warm liquid, something other than room temperature, you can kind of feel the water come up because that temperature changes. So that's one way to get an indication of where the waterline is without having to look. It's kind of hard to see when the funnel is in place. The lid has kind of a little lip on the inside or a material on the inside to give us a nice leak proof seal to this.So even if we have it, we shake it up. Nothing's leaking out of there. So I don't think you should have any problems with this leaking out on you. As far as the size, it is going to be about . close to four inches, but not quite about three and seven eighths inches tall. You see that with your own eyes there. So measuring from the bottom to the top of that handle, it's just under four inches. The width is about two and seven eighths inches, so just about under three inches there. Depth is one and a quarter inch. This can hold up to five fluid ounces of liquid or about 150 milliliters. It weighs about 3.2 ounces when empty or 92 grams. So keep in mind whenever you fill this up with liquid, it will be a little bit heavier than that. So if you're worried about weight, that's one thing to consider there. All in all, I think this is going to be a really nice addition to your pack. Something fun to have around the campsite, something to keep your libations easy at hand but be pretty memorable and a durable little flask. But that's about all there is to it for our ACE Camp Gas Can-Style Hip Flask. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding that is going to be the right one for you. If not, we do have other ones available here at etrailer.com, so check them out. Thanks for watching. We'll see you next time.
