Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a look at this Jif Marine one and a quarter inch thick black plastic dock bumper.Now this dock bumper is designed to mount onto the side of your dock, helps prevent damage to any docking or anchored boats. It is made of a nice marine-grade plastic. It's very durable and UV resistant, and the black color of it is molded in so it won't transfer to your boat's hull when it touches it.It is a very simple installation. Now, the hardware to install this is not included and it will also work with the, or it will mount flush with the Jif Marine corner bumper, which we do sell separately on our website. And that corner bumper part number is JIF24VR.A few specs on this.
I want to give you some measurements. The overall length from one end to the other end is right at 23 and a half inches long. The overall height, it's going to be right about 10 and a quarter inches tall. And we mentioned the thickness of it. If I turn it this way, you'll be able to see that the thickness is one and a quarter inches.
And right up at the top where it has the overhang, the top lip portion. Overall thickness of that is going to be two and a half inches.But that should do it for the review on the Jif Marine one and a quarter inch thick black plastic dock bumper..

- Can Jif Marine Dock Bumper be Cut in HalfI see no problems with you cutting the middle piece holding the Jif Marine Dock Bumper # JIF57VR together so you can have 2 separate pieces. I would just try to avoid cutting the bumpers directly so they can retain their shape.
