Today we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Hangtime Bike Rack. This provides wall mounted storage for one bike. It's going to feature the silicone rubber coated hooks that prevent scratching and damage to the bike frame. Another neat feature about the unit is that when it's not being used it actually folds up, so it's held upward by a magnet when not in use. You can see there how that holds it up. It does not release it, but all you've got to do is pull it down when you're ready to use it as a storage rack, but it does fold up and out of the way. It's going to feature a steel construction, so it's got the nice steel tube.
The unit's going to be powder coated with that black powder coating so it's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. When it comes to the dimensions of the unit, starting with the overall width measuring edge to edge there at the hooks, that's going to be the widest point. That's going to give us a measurement of about 12 inches wide. The overall depth, I took a measurement from the mounting surface to this point right here and got a measurement of about 12 inches. So that's how far it's going to extend from the wall or from the mounting area to the point to where it's holding the frame of your bike.
When it's folded up, bottom to top measures around 18 inches. Really nice design, the bracket here, this is going to measure about an inch and a half wide by 7 7/8th of an inch tall. Mount holes are separated on center by 6 7/8ths of an inch. This is designed to mount to a wall stud. It comes with the appropriate hardware. It's also going to come with some wall anchors. When it comes to the storage capacity, it's a one bike capacity up to 60 pounds and the product is covered with a limited lifetime warranty.
