Good Product. I purchase my electric brake control system a few years ago from e trailer and everything works fine on my complete battery to hitch custom install. I needed a pound back up alarm for an industrial work site but did not want to wake the neighbours up each morning so talked to the folks at e trailer and we picked some components to make a removable unit that slides into my reliever and plugs into my 7 way RV plug. Good job and thanks.

I really like "etrailer" because they will answer my questions right away. They treat you very well. They have great "Customer Service" unlike some other companies. And all of the products I've gotten from this company are well made, were shipped on time. And I'll get more things from them as I need them.

  • Recommended Reverse Alarm And LED Lights For 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser
Unfortunately we don't have the LED reverse light with beeper for your 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser, but I do have a solution for you. For a reverse alarm, I recommend Light-Duty to Medium-Duty Back-Up Alarm with Wire Leads # PK41820. I may have a solution for you, however we do not currently have a combination reverse 921 light bulb and back up alarm available. We are not aware of when one might become available. We do have the stand alone Pollak Light-Duty to Medium-Duty Back-Up Alarm with Wire Leads # PK41820. This will install on the underside of your truck and tap into the reverse light wire. • Backup Alarm for a 2008 Toyota Highlander
The reverse lights on your 2008 Toyota Highlander use a 921 bulb so backup alert # HM20100VA is not going to fit but I do have an excellent solution for you. You can use backup alarm # PK41820. It mounts under the vehicle and wires into a reverse light circuit. When the vehicle is placed in reverse you will get a nice and loud 97 decibel alert.

The 2007 and 2008 Chevy Uplander use a 3157 so it will not work properly though it will fit the socket. The 2002 Chevy Silverado uses an 1156 so you would use # HM20100VA. The 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer uses a 3157 so it will not work properly though it will fit the socket. The 2007 Ford F-150 uses a 3156 so you can use # HM20101VA. The 2007 Toyota Camry uses a 921...

  • Will Hopkins Backup Alert # HM20101VA Fit 2016 Subaru Forester
I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2016 Subaru Forester and it lists a 16W watt W16W bulb for its backup light. This type of bulb can also be interchanged with a 921 bulb which is a bit more common. The Hopkins Backup Alert # HM20101VA that you referenced will only replace a 3156 bulb so it will not work on your Forester. I may have a solution for you but we do not have a backup alert available that will replace the W16W/921 bulb on your vehicle. What...

  • Back-Up Alarm for a 2016 Ram 1500
The Hopkins Backup Alert Replacement Bulbs like part # HM20101VA are only offered for 3156 and 1156 type bulbs. The 2016 Ram 1500 uses a 621 type bulb therefore there is not a Hopkins Backup Alert Replacement Bulb compatible. However, you could just use a standard back-up alarm like the Light-Duty to Medium-Duty Back-Up Alarm part # PK41820 without issue but this is really your only option. The Light-Duty to Medium-Duty Back-Up Alarm has a simple two wire installation so this is something...

  • Backup Alarm Recommendation for a 2008 Jeep Patriot
The reverse light bulb type for the 2008 Jeep Patriot is a 921 wedge type bulb. While there isn't a combination reverse light bulb and back up alarm in this size there are back up alarms available by themselves such as # PK41820. You can mount one on the underside, rear of the vehicle and tap into a reverse light wire. I have also included a link to all of the back up alarms and sensors that we carry.

  • Backup Alarm for 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan
Based on my research your 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan uses a 3157 bulb for its reverse light. The Hopkins Backup Alert # HM20101VA that you referenced is designed to replace a 3156 bulb, which will physically fit in place of your van's 3157 but may not function properly because of the difference in design. We do not have a similar replacement backup alert bulb that's designed for the 3157 type bulb so your best option will be with a separate backup alarm like the Pollak # PK41820 that can...

  • Backup Alarm for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500
I do have some options for you but Hopkins Backup Alert # HM20101VA actually will not fit your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 due to the type of bulbs your truck uses for the reverse lights. What you can use is a stand alone backup alarm that will wire into a reverse light wire such as # PK41820. You can mount it pretty much anywhere under the truck. The power wire will splice into a reverse light wire and the other wire can ground to the frame. I have linked a video featuring this product for you.

  • How Loud is Hopkins Backup Alert for 3156 Bulbs
The back up alert and replacement reverse light bulb # HM20101VA is going to be less than 97 decibels. The overall sound will vary depending on the vehicle it is installed on since the light housings are different on all vehicles. But no matter what vehicle it is installed on you should be able to hear it without issue. If you want something louder I recommend back up alarm # PK41820. It is rated for 97 decibels and you will be able to hear it better since you can mount it under the vehicle....

  • Backup Alarm for a 2013 Ford C-Max
The W16W indicates a 16 watt bulb and also is synonymous with a 921 bulb. So in other words, W16W and 921 are the same thing. We do not have a backup alarm and replacement bulb that will fit in place of a W16W or 921 bulb. But I do have a solution for you. You could install a stand alone backup alarm, # PK41820. This will actually be louder than the replacement bulb types of alarms. It can mount underneath the vehicle and simply wires into a reverse light wire.

I'm not sure what you mean by an alarm... The K-Source # KSVS-8 doesn't include anything that would beep as the vehicle is reversing but you could certainly add something like that if you wish. We carry several different reverse alarms that would sound a loud beep when the vehicle's shifted into reverse. I'd recommend part # PK41820, which has a 97 dB alarm. Installation would be simply, the alarm would mount behind the rear bumper somewhere with only two wires to install. The red wire...
