Backup Alarm Solution for Vehicle with 7440 Reverse Light
Question:
I was looking at your Hopkins 3156 backup light bulb with alarm. Will it interchange with by cars 7440 bulb, which is also a flat socket.

Even though the 7440 and the 3156 are very similar they are not interchangeable. I wish we had a 7440 backup alarm but at this time we do not.
While there isn't a combination reverse light bulb and back up alarm in this size there are back up alarms available by themselves such as # PK41820.
You can mount one on the underside, rear of the vehicle and tap into a reverse light wire. I have also included a link to all of the back up alarms and sensors that we carry.
