How Loud is Hopkins Backup Alert for 3156 Bulbs
Question:
How loud is it
asked by: Court W
Expert Reply:
The back up alert and replacement reverse light bulb # HM20101VA is going to be less than 97 decibels. The overall sound will vary depending on the vehicle it is installed on since the light housings are different on all vehicles. But no matter what vehicle it is installed on you should be able to hear it without issue.
If you want something louder I recommend back up alarm # PK41820. It is rated for 97 decibels and you will be able to hear it better since you can mount it under the vehicle. It wires into a reverse light wire on the vehicle.
