Troubleshooting an Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System # AL25980

Question:

Hello, My husband has had this installed on his truck since 2018 with no issues. Saturday, it wouldnt connect, he has the app on his phone. It finally connected and worked but then on Sunday it stopped working again. The compressor wont come on. It is hooked to the battery and goes all the way back to the compressor and manifold. His phone was giving him 2 error codes: Internal error #8 and Internal error #9. Can anyone help us out with what may be going on with this? Does this system have a relay? I believe it is the AL25850 system. Thank you!

I spoke to a technician at Air Lift. He told me the only time they get codes 8 and 9 active together is because there is debris or something loose in the electrical harness.

He told me to correct this you will need to unplug the harness from the manifold. Then blow out the four pins of the harness with some canned air. Then plug the harness back into the manifold and it should be working.

The tech said if that didn't fix the issue, you would need to reach out to Air Lift for a warranty claim.
