Is Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Waterproof

Question:

AirLift AL25870. 2015 Ford F 250 Super Duty Regarding the installation location of the compressor and/or manifold, what is the moisture tolerance level of these items? Instructions state must be out of splash area. In the install video, they are both installed on the outside of frame rail. This area will certainly receive water splashed from the front tire. Can the compressor and manifold be mounted inside cab, possibly behind rear seat Crew cab? Suggestions? Thanks

The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System first generation 25870 and newer # AL25980 that you referenced are both considered water resistant and will handle limited exposure to water. Definitely don't want to submerge it but in most outside mounting locations it's going to be fine with water exposure while driving in rainy conditions. I agree that the location in the install videos is not ideal since it most likely will get splashed from the front wheel. You could use a snorkel on this to allow it to only draw

Mounting the compressor in the interior of the vehicle will be the most protected place you can mount it so this would be a great idea. There should easily be enough room under the rear seat of the truck as well. Only thing you might consider about this mount location is that you are going to hear the compressor as it runs in this specific location.
