Could Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor Attach to Bed of 2013 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

Ive been trying to find an acceptable mounting location for the WirelessONE compressor and manifold in my 2013 Tacoma double cab, 4WD, with TRD off-road option, and cant find space on the frame. I already have the Air Ride air springs, AL59561, installed and want to add the compressor system. The Tacoma has U-shaped frames, not box frames, and the compressor doesnt fit in the opening. I expect the safest place to mount the hardware is between the frame, not to the outside. Ive thought about mounting them under or behind the rear seats in one of the storage areas but this would mean drilling holes in the cab. This model has the composite bed. Would I be able to secure the compressor and manifold upside down to the bottom of the bed? Thanks for any assistance.

As long as you can securely mount the compressor to the underside of your bed there's no reason you couldn't attach it to the composite bed. The bed is strong enough to carry quite a bit of weight so a small compressor would have no problem attaching to it.

I would try and avoid mounting it anywhere that would require drilling into the cab of the truck though.
