Why Is My AirLift WirelessONE Blowing the In-Line Fuse On My 2020 Ford F-350?

Question:

I have the airlift wireless one single path kit on my 2020 Ford F350 Dually. Been on the truck for 3 years and just this week it has started blowing the 20 amp in-line fuse connected to the positive side of the battery. Without the truck on it takes a few minutes for the fuse to pop. Start the truck and use either the remote or my iPad app to control it and the fuse immediately pops. Any help would be appreciated. It sounds like you may need to check out your wiring on your Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL25980.

Considering that it worked fine before, and now blows fuses that leads me to believe your wiring is the issue. It could also be a bad compressor, but I would first make sure that your wiring is good. Check to make sure that your grounds are clean, (free from rust/debris) not loose, and there are no exposed wires.

If your wiring is good, check next to make sure your unit is being supplied the proper voltage. If there is too much power going to your unit the fuse will pop to protect frying the unit.

Finally, if that all is good then you'd just need to replace your compressor.
