Replacement ZipStrip with Anti-Sway Cradle for Yakima Hanging Style Bike Racks

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Replacement Anti-Sway Cradle with the ZipStrips for the Yakima Hanging Style Bike Racks. Now these parts here will replace a broken or damaged anti-sway cradle on your Yakima Hanging Style Bike Rack. Or any missing or damaged ZipStrips also. It does include everything shown here on the table. The anti-sway cradle, the two ZipStrips and the set screw.

Now this anti-sway cradle will slide onto one of the arms of the bike rack and it'll help limit the bike movement to help prevent bike-to-bike contact. And that set screw that's included, once this slides onto the arm, you can see there's a little area here with a hole in it. That's where you'll install your set screw and tighten it down. Basically, you can see this arm will go back and forth to adjust to the bike you're putting on there. And the ZipStrips, what you'll do is right up here is where you'll put your frame of your bike down, take your ZipStrip, go ahead and push that into place.

And then you can just push them down to how tight you need it. And same on this portion here, it'll go where the seat post is. Help prevent sway of your bike rack. And same time you take your ZipStrip, push it all the way through there. And again, just push it all the way and pull it as tight as you need to.

And then when you release your bike, to release the ZipStrips all you have to do is push it on the two tabs and the ZipStrips will come right out just like that. So they're very easy to put in and take out. Now these anti-sway cradle up here has a SuperCrush cradle on it, which will carry and protect your bike during transport. It does use a premium TPE padding, which will protect your bike's frames from any damage by absorbing the road shock and vibration. Now this part is designed to fit the Yakima RidgeBack, the Yakima FullTilt, the Yakima FullSwing, and the Yakima LongHaul bike racks.
