Replace a missing Thule key with this equivalent part.The key is exactly what we needed for an older Thule box that had been sitting in a friend's garage, locked for years. The company didn't have in stock but let me know immediately that there would be a bit of delay while they tracked it down. In the end, I still got the key days before I expected.

This is a low tech item (a key), but since I don't think Thule makes the same model bike rack anymore I was apprehensive that I would be unable to find a replacement key for the hitch mount. I was pleased that this key fits perfectly and now I can remove/remount the bike rack as necessary. BTW, I got my Thule bike rack from eTrailer and was very pleased.
I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.

I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.
I recently purchased a used Karrite Explorer cargo box from a gentleman who had lost the keys. This replacement key fit the cargo box perfectly. I now have a fully functional box for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
