Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made snap fasteners for cloth. These are the female ends, and it's going to come with six fasteners overall for a cloth.Now, snap fasteners obviously are a great way to attach two pieces of material together temporarily, but securely. And they can be mounted on your boat covers or tarps, anything like that, that you're going to need to snap together.Like I said, these are the female ends. There are two pieces that will go on either side of your fabric. You will need the Taylor Made snap fastener dye and setting tool set.
And you can find that here at etrailer.com using part number 3691360. I've got it here for you.Basically the way this works, you'll set that longer piece in your castings. Oh Sorry. Your dye piece there. Punch a hole in the fabric that you're going to be using.
Use the male piece there, pushed through that hole, and then you'll set the button type piece on top. Use your setting tool and hammer that down. It's going to cinch those pieces together on either side of the fabric and give you that female side of your snap button.Obviously you are going to need the male side for your snap buttons to make them work.
