Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com today we're going to take a quick look at the Taylor Made one way boat cover snaps. These are the male fastener ends that will screw in to your boat's wooden gunnel and it's going to provide that attachment point for your boat's bow or cockpit cover and your female ends will obviously snap right onto these male ends to keep that cover pulled tight. The female ends are not included. They are sold separately. You can find a kit here, etrailer.com using that part number that you see on the screen there.
If you do use those, they are an exact match for these and one nice thing about those female and these male ends working together, they are going to provide an extra secure connection because there is a one way design so the snaps won't loosen or detach unless the dotted side of the female snap is pulled so it's only a one direction release so any of the other sides get pulled on.It's not going to release at all. So if you don't already have those female ends, you can find them using that part number. This kit is going to come with the four male snaps each snap has that wood screw to allow you to screw it into the gunnel. You will need to pre drill your hole and then use a screwdriver to get these in place. They are made here in the USA so you can trust that they are made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products made here in the US and really that's all there is to our Taylor Made one way boat cover snaps.
So if you're in the market for some boat cover snaps, I think these are going to be a great option for you, especially when paired with those female ends. Think they're going to do a good job of holding your cover down tight. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
