This is going to replace a lost or broken mounting post for your Roadmaster Second Vehicle Kit. Roadmaster is a confusing company. This piece did not come with the seat bracket which I believe it should since the bracket is useless without it, but once I started the installation of their second car kit I found that it did in fact come with the second car kit. That makes no sense since you would have nothing to use it with on the second car kit , without the seat bracket. So I bought this one and now have it as an extra.
As far as etrailer, they always do a nice job of communicating.
I appreciated being able to get just this part of the braking kit. I already had the rest of the equipment for the application. Thanks, etrailer for stocking it and getting it to me quickly.
Service and courtesy of eTrailer personnel is excellent as are their products. However, I am somewhat annoyed that I had to purchase this product to get the part I needed.
I had previously purchased part number RM-88154, the floor adapter plate for the BrakeMaster braking cylinder, thinking it contained the pedestal needed to attach the cylinder to the floor plate. It contained both bolts and washer but no pedestal, which rendered the floor plate unusable.
Thus, I had to spend an extra eleven dollars plus shipping to get the part I needed and two duplicate bolts and a washer which I did not need. Seems like a confusing and unnecessary marketing error as the floor plate is a useless metal strap without the pedestal even though the bolts and washer are included with it.
I have been dealing with etrailer for several years and have yet to be disappointed. Not only are their products great, but their return service is also excellent. I recently made a mistake in ordering and had to return parts, I contacted my sales person and she made the return simple. Speaking of Sales Staff, they are also excellent. They are knowledgeable and give great advice on how to install purchased items, or where to go to get installation instructions. I use this company and highly recommend them.
Direct replacement for missing part on my Brakemaster setup. Prompt, efficient service.
Thought this should have been included with the seat bracket. This delayed my installation and I had to pay extra for this needed part and a shipping charge.
I bought this to set up a second brakeing system in another tow vehicle. It's works great!

Does the job well. It was more difficult to install than I thought it would be, but it's well worth it for what it does.
