Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this Rhino Rack replacement Long Security Allen Key. Now this is going to replace a missing or damaged five millimeter Allen key that's designed to be used with the security hardware found on Rhino Rack products. If you are already using a Rhino Rack Allen key like this, then you know that really the only difference between a standard five millimeter Allen key and the Rhino Rack version is this little drilled out portion. This is a proprietary way that Rhino Rack makes their keys fit so that no one with just a standard five millimeter Allen key can come along and undo your Rhino Rack accessories.
So this is going to work with a wide variety of Rhino Rack products, all of them that use the five millimeter security screws. As you can see, this does include this black plastic candle, giving you a great grip. And this is directly from Rhino Rack, so you know and can have the confidence that this is going to work with those five millimeter security screws from Rhino Rack. Wanted to get a spare key for the racks---btw, love the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Roof Racks! Installation was great so easy to put up and take down. Customer service was excellent! William B was so helpful!

Its been a year and the racks are awesome! Used them to move my kid to college and they were so easy to install and take down. With the stickers provided, installation takes us 5 minutes. You cant go wrong with these roof racks!
Product works sufficiently to tighten and loosen the end caps, but it does not have the torque feedback of the original that came with the racks (which are great). Unfortunately, the original was stolen and had to be replaced.

product is good. does the job. my crews use the racks on our work vans without any problems. the key helps us reassure that all things are tight and safe.
