Video Transcript for Rhino-Rack Aero/Sportz Crossbars Load Stops Review
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino rack load stops for Rhino rack arrow bars, part number S602. These load stops are going to be great for securing down your cargo to your Rhino rack roof rack or another other roof rack that accepts channel accessories. As you can see here, we're using a ladder, but will work out great for lumber or any other elongated loads. They come in a pair, and they're five inches tall. They're constructed out of a glass reinforced nylon and they feature a limited lifetime warranty. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how easy this is to get installed. First thing we can do is go ahead and remove our end cap, and then we can remove our rubber stripping.
Ordinarily, you can trim your rubber strips to fit around your stops, but for demonstration purposes, we're just going to go ahead and leave those out. We'll slide it on like so, then we'll move on to the rest of our hardware. First thing we can take is our plastic plate here, and then our t-bolt. We're going to slide that underneath. Then we'll slide it into the channel here, all the way to our stop.
Then we'll take our flat washer and our lock nut and get that started. I've gone ahead and repeated the same process for the other side. Before we tighten them down, we can go ahead and load up some cargo. If you're going to be carrying the same item every time, like a ladder, then we only have to tighten down once. With the ladder in place, we can go ahead and butt our stopper up against it and tighten it down, and then repeat the same process for the other side. You will have to provide your own tool to tighten it down.
It's just a 10 millimeter socket. If you'd like to, for the foot crossbar, you could pick up some additional load stops, or you could do like we're doing and use the Rhino rack tie down I-nuts, part number S604. This is just going to provide us with a secure point to run some straps through. You'll of course want to be sure and secure your cargo down. We're just using some bungee cords.
You could pick up a twelve piece set with part number 9008600. That's going to complete our look at the Rhino rack load stops for Rhino rack arrow bars, part number S602.

These eye bolts are a great addition to my Rhino Rack Aero crossbars, pretty much essential actually. The threaded rings are a bit overkill, being cast and plated steel, so I have no worries about their strength. With some strong ratchet straps, I will have to make sure not to over-tighten loads. The instruction say to line the rings up with the bars, but all four of my rings oriented 90 degrees off when fully tightened. I’m planning to add one more nylon washer to each to see if that gives me the orientation and tightness I’m looking for. That’s just me being picky. The attaching hardware also seems very stout and unlikely to corrode or rust, and that’s important cause they may stay in one position for a long time before they’re loosened for adjustment. I do wish they were offered in stainless steel, tho they’d cost much more and not be any stronger. Overall a great product at a reasonable price.

The eyebolts fit the Rhino Rack that I purchased. I will install on rack when I need them to tie cargo. Easy to install and remove from the rack.

These tie downs are as advertised. They fit into the grooves of the rhino crossbars. I am concerned that they could loosen up if the straps are not pulling in the clockwise position since the cleat is the female threat on this item. But as always the etrailers delivers on time.

Received the full Rhino Rack kit with Vortex Bars to go over my F150 crew cab short bed with Retrax Pro XR retractable Tonneau cover. Took about 20' to install and have the full kit working first time out of the box. Great service delivery, everything included in one shipment! The 71" bar size gave 3.75" on either side of the towers and still kept the end of the rails within the overall edges of the truck line.

The right place for the part! I was hesitant to purchase the eyebolts because I had done so from another vendor and they did not fit. The dimensions and reviews on the site made it an easy decision. If you have Ormac Cross Bars YES they will fit. Well pleased with my choice.

My review is not really as much about the product as the service. Originally I ordered before looking at the etrailer reviews and saw mixed when I did. Ordering through etrailer has been a very good experience for me. Almost everything has been as expected. There was a slight compatibility problem with the eyelets and cross bars and the staff fixed it promptly.

I have the Heavy Duty Cross Bar by Rhino and these bolts didn't fit into the track of the cross arm.
Thy did fit into the track that the brackets fit into. And that way they do not interfere with anything onthe flat of the rack itself.
I also bought star washers so they won't back out.
