Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these underside tie down points for the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero crossbars. These underside tie down points are going to give you discreet locations to attach tie down straps to your crossbars. They're going to free up space to carry more gear on the top of your roof rack and they're going to keep your straps from sliding off your bars, even if your load would happen to shift. Now these are going to fit your Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero crossbars and most crossbars with the bottom channels. And they're going to easily bolt in your crossbar's bottom channel with the included hardware that you see here on the table before me. Now, just to give you some overall dimensions to give you an idea of the size of these.
Measuring the overall length, we are sitting right at two and one eighth inches long. And the overall width, looks like we're sitting right at about an inch, looks like one and one eighth inches wide. And then the overall height, we are sitting pretty close to one and a quarter inches. And then I measured that opening earlier and the length of that opening, we're sitting right at about an inch and a half. And then the height, we're sitting almost at five eighths of an inch in that opening, the height of that opening.
So you are going to receive everything that you see here on the table before me. You're gonna get the two tie down points, and there's gonna be two tie down points for one crossbar, the hardware, and then this sheet of instructions to guide you through the installation process. The channel on the bottom side of a Rhino Rack crossbar is a slightly different size which is why the part # RRS606 won't fit.
