Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this max-capacity bracket kit for the Reese Elite Series Fifth-Wheel Hitch Rails. Now this kit here will help increase the total rated capacity of your Reese Elite Series Underbed rails on your truck up to 32,000 pounds for fifth-wheel towing and gooseneck towing. It is highly recommended for the Ford F-350 and F-450 diesel dually trucks. One note I do wanna mention, you never wanna exceed your towing vehicle manufacturer's recommended vehicle towing capacity, or the lowest rated component of your system. Now, these brackets right here are designed to install on the rear underbed rails and the outer frame brackets to increase your total rated capacity.
And just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pop up an insert and there you can see that insert shows the rails installed on your vehicle. And you'll notice the highlighted colored areas are these brackets right here. Now, the underbed rails themselves, we do sell those separately on our website. They go by a part number of RP87FR. And I just popped up an insert of those.
You can see the rails there. And again, we sell those separately. Now, to achieve that 32,000 pound max capacity I mentioned, the vehicle must also include the inner frame brackets that are welded to your vehicle. We do sell those separately. They're part number RP27FR.
And those look like those. Those brackets there need to be welded on to meet the 32,000 pound, along with these max-capacity brackets. If those inner frame brackets are only bolted on, it only changes your max capacity to 20,000 pounds. Now these parts you can see have a nice black powder coat finish to 'em. And it will include both the driver's side and passenger side bracket.
