Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the review safety 130 degree wireless backup camera. Now this wireless camera is for us with RVS-2CAM or RVS-4CAM systems. Those are sold separately. A rear view camera, or a wireless backup camera, is designed to pair wirelessly with the monitor in which you'd view whatever it is that the camera is seeing. The only wiring that you need to connect is basically these two wires right here. You have your power wire and you have your ground wire. So on that harness, you do have a grommet to cover up the hole that your wires pass through as it goes through the body of the RV.
Keeps out dirt, grime and moisture, so grommet's included. You got the antenna here on the back to increase that signal. When it comes to connecting to the monitor, you got the pair button back here. And basically what this camera does is it really helps increase overall awareness, safety, and visibility. It features 130 degree ultra-wide viewing angle. It has nine infrared lights for ultimate night vision.
The infrared's automatically adjust based on the environment. It features an IP68 rating, so it has a nice waterproof casing to it. It comes with your installation hardware. Again, two wire design, one for power, one for ground. It's got this shade system on it, so that's designed to reduce the amount of glare. So that if this is in direct sunlight, you can actually adjust this shade to reduce the amount of light that's being fed through the camera, which makes it more visible on your monitor. When it comes to the overall measurements of the base, measure this going in this direction, we get a measurement of about three inches to maybe three and 1/16.
Right here is about one and 3/4 inches. And as you can see, the way that I have it set up now, I have it set up to where it's straight up and down, and that's because I want to give you the overall, basically depth measurement. In this case it's about three and 7/8 inches. Now this is adjustable, so you can pivot the camera. You can also adjust that shade independently. The mounting hardware to lock that shade into place once you get it adjusted the way you want it, that's all included. Now please note, aluminum causes interference to the wireless connectivity, so if you have an aluminum trailer, it is recommended to go with a wired system.
That's gonna do it for today's look at the rear view safety 130 degree wireless backup camera.
