Hello neighbors. Welcome back I'm Steven and today here at Etrailer we're looking at this Optronics black door grab handle with the steel base 11 inches long. Now this grab handle is simply gonna mount to your door panel and make entering and exiting your RV a lot safer. It's got hinged end caps. They're gonna allow for easy mounting or dismounting if you ever have to change it out. You can simply put your screws in, snap those two end caps down in place and then you're good to go.
It gives you a nice flush clean look whenever it's installed. And if you ever have to uninstall this, there's a little hole there on the side. Actually, lemme zoom in here on a different view. There's a little tab here or a hole you can put a little screwdriver in and just pop that open. And when I got it zoomed in, I'll kind of show you.
It's got a molded grip up here on the handle and you got your mounting holes on both sides. Now this is made of durable ABS plastic and it's got reinforced steel on those mounting bases where the screws are going through. It is a surface mount installation. The hardware's not included. You would have to pick that up locally at a hardware store or something of that nature.
As far as some dimensions, it is 11 inches long inch and three quarter inches wide. If you're counting from the top to the flat part here, so here to here, and it's approximately one inch thick. Now as far as the mounting holes, so you got two sets. So the inner set, if you we inchesre going center to center on the inner set of mounting holes, it's eight and three eighths of an inch, center to center. And the outside holes, center to center of that set is nine and three quarter inches.
Folks, it's got a nice three year limited warranty. It's a very, very nice grippable handle. I got pretty big hands and as you can see, I got plenty of space underneath there to get my fingers through and everything with ease.
