    The # A5TRSSB ring will not work with the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL101RCFB. The GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL101RCFB already has a built-in ring which prevents you from using the stainless steel ring. What you would need to do is use the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL101RCB with the Stainless Steel Trim Ring for Optronics STL101-Series Trailer Tail Lights # A101TRSSB.

  • What Type of Stainless Steel is the Optronics Stainless Steel Trim Ring A5TRSSB Made Of
    I spoke with Optronics but they were not able to tell me the grade of stainless steel used on the Stainless Steel Trim Ring for Optronics Flange Mount Trailer Lights part # A5TRSSB. I also do not have any way to test this for you either. However, the most common is 304 which is likely what the ring is made of. The distance for the inner diameter of the ring is 3-15/16" and the distance between the mounting holes on center is 4-15/16".

  • Can a 4 Inch Round Trailer Tail Light Be Riveted On
    The LED Trailer Tail Light w/ Reflector part # STL13RFHXB could hold up to a rivet gun or it could not, there are really too many variables to advise on this but if you were to use the Stainless Steel Trim Ring part # A5TRSSB over the mounting flange I believe that would then allow you to use a rivet gun without breaking the plastic. There is also the option of the Peterson Trailer Tail Light w/ Stainless Steel Housing part # 429800 but this has an incandescent bulb, not an LED.

    The Optronics LED Trailer Light # STL42RB is not what I could call an exact replacement for the # ST40RB but for all purposes it will be what you're looking for. The # STL42RB is 1/8 inches larger in diameter and 3/8 inches deeper so at the most you may need to do a little filing to the opening for the light in your trailer to install it. The mounting flange is metal. There is also a Stainless Steel Trim Ring # A5TRSSB available. It does not include a gasket, however If you would prefer...
