Adam: Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at NOCO's Battery Terminal Cleaning Kit, and it is going to be able to come in the kit like you see here, or you can just buy them separately here at etrailer.com. It's always a smart thing to do, especially going into the winter to take care of your batteries. They're very expensive and they pretty much run everything you use whenever you're camping off grid or on grid.So on an RV, as you see here, we are going to have a battery running our motor, and if it's a diesel, we'll have two up there. We're also going to have a couple batteries up back, and that's going to be running all of our appliances whenever we're camping. Very important to clean both just so your engine's going to start and all your appliances are going to work properly. So as you can see here, we don't really have any corrosion going on, but this will prevent it from happening.

So always disconnect our negative side of our battery. And then you can take these props off and be sure to clean it real good, clean the terminal here, and don't be afraid to clean our cables as well. So once we get that on, we can go ahead and take our spray bottle here, spray it on there. So this is going to be a spray on oil-based corrosion resistor. So basically it's not going to dry over time and affect our battery's life.

It's also going to be able to work on any types of batteries, so you don't have to worry about checking and see if it's going to work. It will work, if it's a battery. So these pads are going to be made of felt, and they are 100% organic. We are going to have a diameter on the inside of a three quarters of an inch, but as you can see here, we are going to be able to take this insert out for our larger terminals on our batteries. And that's going to be about an inch and one eighth. So once we put that into place, we're going to just put our terminal on and make sure it's nice and secure, and that we don't have to worry about it corroding over time and over the winter, so we don't have to deal with that in the cold weather. So our spray bottle here does have a decent amount in there.

We're going to be able to coat our terminals for a couple different seasons, but we do sell our felt pads here separately. So if you'd like to just switch those out, whenever the season changes, you can go ahead and do that. They are fairly cost-effective, and it just gives you that peace of mind for a very, very reasonable price. So if you're in the market for some terminal protection, we do have options here. You can just grab the kit as we showed earlier, or Deka does make a kit that comes with a cleaner. So if you don't have a wire brush, you can just go ahead and grab this kit and it'll come with it.So sometimes when you pull your RV out of a long winter of storage, sometimes you're going to have that corrosion.

If we took care of our batteries, before we stowed it away, we wouldn't have that issue. Just a little bit of maintenance now is going to save you a big headache in the long run.So if you have a lot of batteries and decide to go with the larger quantity, we are going to get fifty. So we're going to be able to take care of plenty of batteries. And it comes with a nice carrying case. Put that on there, like so, then we can grab our other stuff and brush it on. Once we get that on there, we can hook our battery back up and then we just don't have to worry all winter. So whether you're just buying the small kit, just to take care of your batteries for this season, or you're stocking up just so you can stay up on that maintenance, whatever it may be, we do carry all of it. NOCO has a lot of options when it comes to that. So just pick whatever's right for you and take care of your batteries. So whether it's going to be your side-by-side battery, your RV battery, or just your truck that you work on, regardless, this is going to work and prevent all that corrosion from happening on any type of battery you may have. A little bit of maintenance now is going to save you a big headache in the long run. Again, this was the NOCO Battery Terminal Cleaner, and I'm Adam with etrailer.com.

Typically this is attributed to a weak battery or a weak ground connection. Start by checking your grounds and ensuring they are tight and on a good, clean, bare metal location. Additionally, check your battery terminals and make sure they are tightened and are not corroded. Finally, check the charge of your battery with # PT89ZR and ensure it reads 12.6 volts or higher. If you find your battery terminals are corroded or rusted, you can use the NOCO NCP2 Battery Terminal Treatment Kit...
