Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement brass bushing for your weld-on hinges. This is a 16-millimeter wide bushing. It's got an internal opening of 10 millimeters, and it's right about two millimeters thick. This is going to replace the bushing for your hinge so that your hinge will operate properly, not gonna have to worry about it getting bound up. So if I remove the original bushing from a hinge with a 10-millimeter pin there, you can see these are virtually identical, so very easy to just slip that in place.
That's going to allow us to operate our hinge without having to worry about too much friction building up or anything like that. And so our hinge will work properly again. And because it is that brass construction, it is going to be very corrosion resistant. So it will hold up really well for us for a long time to come. So that's gonna complete our look at this brass bushing.
