Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this replacement brass bushing for your weld-on hinges. This is going to replace the brass bushing that prevents your weld-on hinges from binding up and not allowing you to open and close them smoothly. So this is going to ensure a nice, smooth friction-free operation of your hinge. This is right at 11.5 millimeters in our outer diameter here.
Our opening there is right about 6 millimeters in diameter. We've got approximately a 2 millimeter thickness here. So this is going to fit right in place of that original. It's got that same brass construction to help resist corrosion so it should last you a nice long time. Make sure that your hinge is operating smoothly.
Should be very simple to get this installed. Basically just have to pull that pin portion out of your hinge, slide that original bushing off, put this new one in place on the pin, and then reassemble your hinge and you'll be ready to go and it should be nice and smooth for you. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
