Hi everyone. It's Evangeline. And today, we'll be taking a look at our replacement saddle for your Malone SaddleUp Pro kayak carrier right here at etrailer. So, your Malone SaddleUp Pro is great for carrying kayaks. It supports the whole of your boat. It's a nice, comfortable custom fit but things happen.
So, what if you damage your saddle, or maybe you lose it, or you lose the bolt that fit it together What you can do is get a replacement part right here at etrailer. So, I'm gonna take a look at this replacement part, show you what comes with it, what is not included with it to help you find the best fit for you. So, what's included is gonna be the saddle portion, pretty much everything above the crossbar. So, you have your saddle, you have your bolt holding it together, you also have this top part. What is not included is gonna be the mounting hardware.
So, that is these hex bolts, as well as this clamp and these wingnuts. Also, not included is the pad that goes around your saddle. So, if you do need to replace everything, what you can do is you can get this saddle and then you can get some 50 or 60 millimeter bolts, and then get the matching wingnuts and just use a clamp to go around. The most important thing is gonna be the saddle itself. Another part that we have here at etrailer not included with this is gonna be the T-slot integration hardware kit.
That's gonna help you out with mounting this saddle itself to the T-slots in your crossbars. Definitely recommend, it's gonna be a little bit easier that way, and definitely more on low profile. The replacement process is super simple. Just get the mounting hardware from your previous saddle, replace the saddle itself, pop that bolt right in, get that clamp underneath. Our clamp has a nice rubber padding for your crossbars.
Get your wingnut into place to secure that bolt. Once that's tightened down, that's pretty much it. So, when you are replacing any part of your kayak carrier, it's very important to know what is broken, what actually does need replacing. Sometimes you can also help prevent the need to replace it. Notice how your SaddleUp Pro, especially for the front, just hinges up here. There really shouldn't be anything to damage unless it's gonna be the rubber part. So, if needed, you just switch around your saddles. Have one on the right, one on the left. Switch your rear saddles too. That could help out with making sure you don't have too much uneven wear and tear on them, and then they last longer. But if something does happen and they do get damaged, it's nice to know that you have the direct replacement found right here at etrailer. And that was a look here at our replacement saddle for your Malone SaddleUp Pro kayak mounts right here at etrailer. My name is Evangeline and I hope this helped you out..
