Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source replacement side mirror. This is gonna be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 2013 through 2015 Lexus ES 300H and 350. Now, this is going to be modeled after your Lexus's original look and fit, so you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror. It should look like it came with your Lexus right from the factory, so you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look this is going to look very seamless and integrated for you. It is going to have the same footprint and mountain points as the factory mirror so it is gonna be very easy to get installed, you don't have to drill any new holes or anything like that.

Basically just take your old mirror off put this one in its place. It is going to plug right into your existing electrical wiring, so very simple to get it hooked up. And that's going to give you your power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. It's also going to give you the heated mirror glass to clear frost and ice and help reduce fogging. On the side here we do have the amber light that will flash when you have your turn signal activated.

And then we also have the puddle lamp here on the underside, that's going to eliminate the area under the mirror. Now keep in mind the power remote capability, The heated mirror glass, the turn signal and the puddle lamp will only work if your vehicle already has those functions. It's not going to add those capabilities to a vehicle that doesn't already have them. This mirror does not support the auto dimming memory function or blind spot detection features that your original mirror might have. So it might be a little bit more limited.

But overall a great replacement. It is gonna be OE grade quality, so same quality as the original. And the the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome. So it's gonna give you a nice, clear image. And it is a convex lens like most passenger side mirrors to give you that nice wide angle view to help reduce your blind spots.

Now the mirror does also have the breakaway design, so it will fold when struck to help deter any breakage. So if you we're to run into a parking post or the side of your garage or something like that it's going to help absorb some of that impact to deter any breakage. It does have a durable plastic housing on it though that has this black finish. This can be painted to match your vehicle. If you like to further integrate it into the system it could even more seamless. For those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for you. You can see the part numbers on the screen there. Those are the original equipment numbers that this is gonna replace. So if you're going through your owner's manual or when you pull off the original mirror, if you see those numbers anywhere you can trust this is gonna be exactly what you need.
