Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today, we're taking a look at the replacement attachment tab assemblies for Blue Ox base plates. These guys are a mere 11 3/8 inch long versions. Now, this is gonna allow you to replace your damaged attachment tabs for your Blue Ox base plates or to go ahead and give yourself a little extra room for various accessories to add to your flat tow setup. So, the spring tabs here, of course, make it very, very easy to go ahead and get these installed. All we have to do, just like the ones you probably have at home already, simply just walk it in, insert it, twist it and that's gonna go ahead and allow the spring clips to fall right in place to where we want 'em.
And therefore, we can go ahead and stay nice and installed for our style. So, of course, make sure you are checking the compatibility with your base plate, and the big thing to look for here is gonna be our back distance here on this rear side. So, after we break down some of these dimensions, I'll go a little bit more into that. So, to give ourselves the dimensions here, overall, of course, is gonna be right there at that 11 3/8 inch long, of course, while that front tab over the front section here, which is gonna be mainly adding your extra length away from your base plate, so imagine your base plate is right there, that is gonna be adding right to the very end 7 1/8 inches there for the front section. Now our middle section here right up to our knuckle is gonna be putting us right at 3 3/8 of an inch, while going all the way to the end of our attachment point is gonna be putting us at 4 1/4 of an inch.
So, as we talked about before, the big thing to be looking at, can this fit in your base plate And that is gonna be this rear section here. So, make sure you are comparing it at home, and, of course, just with you base plate that you guys have to make sure it can appropriately fit. However, there are a multitude of different replacement tabs available for you at etrailer.com, so make sure you get the one that is gonna fit for you. Well, guys, this is gonna be a nice little way, of course, of just giving yourself a little extra length. I saw some people out there just wanting that little extra on that front end, can go a long way of making sure that you have all the accessories you want on your flat tow setup.
