Third Brake Light Camera for 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Hitching for 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
Recently bought a 2018 Sierra 2500 SLT. It has the backup camera, but it doesnt have the 3rd brake light camera for easier gooseneck/5th wheel hitching. I would like to add one. Who has done this and what brand did you use? Im assuming GM offers this option that would play nicely with the stock infotainment system. Thanks for any help in advance.

For your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 we have a third brake light camera kit available with the # 3460010 which does tie into the display on the dash of the truck like you asked about as well. You'll install a small switch too on your dash that will allow you to switch between seeing the view of this camera and the reverse camera at the rear of the vehicle.
I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2018 Silverado 2500 for you to check out as well.
