Removing Damaged Cab Clamp From Extang Trifecta Tonneau Cover
Question:
The cab clamp stripped out so I received a new one at no charge from extang, I have removed the screws that hold now cross member in place how does it come out of the track to replace clamp

I spoke with my contact at Extang regarding the removal of the existing cab clamp on your Trifecta Tonneau Cover. She stated that on the Trifecta covers, after you have removed the screws that hold the cross member in place, you will then need to actually slide the rail to the hinge. Once you slide it to the hinge, you will need to unscrew the hinge to allow it to slide completely out.
You should then be able to install the Replacement Cab Clamp # EX1034 in its place.
