This extension gives you the functionality of a 7-way connection, but without any pins or blades to bend or break. The EZ Connector system uses magnets inside the plugs and sockets to hold the connectors together. Simply insert the plugs into the socket on your RV and the one on your towed car, and the internal magnets will snap them together, no latch needed. To disconnect, just pull the plugs out by hand.
This is an improvement over typical connectors, which rely on a plastic latch on the socket lid to hold the plug in place. With any connector it can be easy to forget to disconnect the wiring when you unhook your towed vehicle. If you drive off without disconnecting a standard 7-way plug, the connector will get pulled out of the socket, likely tearing off the lid. Without a lid, the electrical terminals are exposed to damaging moisture and debris. But if you forget to remove the EZ Connector plug when unhooking your towed car from your RV, the plug will disconnect from the receptacle as you drive off. And because there's no latch on the socket's lid to get in the way, the lid will automatically close to cover the terminals.
The magnets inside of the trailer connectors are made of neodymium, an extra-strong, rare-earth alloy. The high-quality magnets ensure a tight connection between the connectors that is stable enough to make it through intense bumps and road vibration.
These plugs each have a double silicon O-ring that creates a watertight seal when the plug is inserted into the connector.
A storage holder is included for each plug to keep them safe and dry when they're not in use. These convenient holders can be attached to your RV so that they are always available when you need them. Simply plug in the connector, and the plug's O-rings will create a watertight seal with the holder, just as they do with the vehicle-end socket. This ensures that the terminals on these plugs stay protected from moisture and debris at all times.
All of the EZ Connector systems have earned a perfect score on the SAE water submersion test. This means that the seal created on these plugs, either with the plug holder or with the EZ Connector vehicle-end socket, will stay watertight, even if the connectors are completely submerged in water for extended periods of time.

Now this seven way extension will allow you to connect your motor home to your vehicle to power your towed vehicle's brakes and signal lights. They connect by using the power for rare earth magnets that are in the plugs, right in the center here. And they'll join with the magnet in the EZ Connector vehicle and sockets that we sell separately, to keep your connection secure. The plugs will stay tightly connected because of that magnet, despite any bumps or vibrations that are common with towing. What's nice is the electric connection, these seven dots right here, they're face-to-face electrical contact, so when they do contact with the other plug, their connection is made face-to-face.
There's no pins or blades that are able to bend or break. This eliminates any concerns about electrical arcing in the braided pins and the contacts are very easy to clean because they're flat.Now this is ideal for marine applications. On the plugs themselves, they have the double O-rings that will create a nice water-tight seal with the socket to keep out moisture and debris. Also they used water block powder in the cable to keep moisture away from the wiring. It's very simple installation.
All you have to do is plug this right into your other socket. And the way you do that is you see this little cut out here, this will line up with a tab that's in the other plug that's on the vehicle end. So you just push that in, turn it until that tab lines up, and then they automatically connect, and using the rare earth magnet give you a secure connection.The two plate trailer plug holders right here, you install those on the trailer. That's to store the plugs. Basically, they have a self-closing cover, so when there's nothing plugged into them, they'll keep closed.
It keeps any debris and rain out when traveling. Then when you need to store your plug when it's not being connected, you just secure the plug same way in the magnetic receptacle while it's not in use. It keeps the plug from dragging and it is also water tight, keeping it corrosion free. And it is a very tight connection. It's just using magnets, but to unplug it, you can see you really have to pull it apart to get it unplugged.

I installed an EZ connector on the rear of my RV and another on the front of my Jeep Wrangler. Now, when I tow the Jeep while RVing, I never have to worry about the taillights, brake-lights, or turn signals because EZ connectors are the most reliable trailer electrical connector period.
