Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Durabilt Cargo Bar Holder. Now, this cargo bar holder will secure your Durabilt cargo bars when they're not being used. Those cargo bars we do sell separately on our website, they're part number DU42RR. Now, this will hold up the two cargo bars at a time. Basically, these brackets will be installed on the wall of your trailer and they hold the cargo bars in place.

This one would be your bottom bracket, and this would be your top bracket. Basically, the bars could be retracted to a shorter length, and then stored in these holders. On the bars, they do have rubber feet on them, so when you retract them, you can put the rubber feet right in the bottom bracket here, and then your bar will be sticking straight up. But what you can do is push this button which open this handle all the way up, and with it open, then these openings up here on the top bracket are open. You can push the bar right into place, once the bars get into place, then just slide your handle all the way across, and it'll hold the bars there.

And if you want an additional security, you can put a padlock through there if you want. Also what's nice, is if you notice from the top bracket, let me just zoom in here a little bit, so you can see, on this top bracket you can see right in here, they do use the nice neoprene cushion on the top and bottom, so that when your bar is in there and closed shut, it helps. When the bar is in there, if it's rattling, it won't cause any vibration, cause the neoprene cushion to absorb it. And as we also mentioned, if you see, when you slide this handle all the way over, the hole that's showing here, that's where you can put your padlock to lock it for additional security. Now, the padlock is not included, we do sell that separately.

These parts, if you noticed, are all a zinc-plated steel construction, very durable, rust resistant. Now, the mounting hardware to install these on your trailer wall, they are not included, you would have to supply that. Few specs on this, again, this application is for cargo bars with foot pads that are between two inches by four inches and four inches by four inches, the foot pad will fit right in this tray here. Give you a few measurements on this, we'll start with the top bracket, give you the length. If we do the overall length, one end to the other, it's right at 11 inches long, total depth when it's mounted, it's gonna be right at 3 1/2 inches deep, total height when it's mounted is right at five inches tall.

Now, the openings, there's a little button here that you push to release it, but these openings right here that the bar will go into, those are gonna measure right at 1 3/4 inches. On the bottom bracket, if we measure on the bottom bracket, overall length, widest point is gonna be right down here, it's right at 9 3/8 inches long, depth is gonna be right at 4 1/4 inches deep, and the overall height is right at 4 7/8 inches tall.
