Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement E-coat Calipers for Dexter disc brakes for left-hand or right-hand side assemblies. Now this replacement caliper will fit 6,000 pound Dexter disc brakes assemblies. It is a self adjusting design so it allows the caliper to shift so that it stays center on the rotor. This does use the opposing piston technology, which ensure even pressure on both sides of the rotor.It enhances your braking performance, and minimizes the bad wear. Piston diameter on these are 1-7/8 inch diameter. These are a ductile iron construction, which prevents flexing, keeps the braking torque consistent.
They do use an E-coat finish in them, to help resist corrosion. And as I mentioned, they are universal configuration. So you can use them on either left-hand, or right-hand side of the trailer.This part will include everything shown here on the table. The two caliper assemblies, the mounting bolts, and the nuts to install it; the bleeder screw, the 3/16 inverted adaptor, a tube clamp with the hardware, the anti-rattle spring, and then the two brake line assemblies to make your connections. Now, the brake pads are sold separately.

Brake pads sold separately.ALthough out of stock when intially oredered, the replacement calipers and hyraulic lines were ultimately received earlier than the estimated shipping date! The kits included all the various pieces and lines to install in a variety of applications. Now if the weather cooperates the instalation begins.
All items received in excellent condition. Delivery tracking helped us track delivery and pick up package on time in spite of weather delays.
Just got back from first fishing trip since I put new calipers on (4 hr ride, one way). Brakes worked perfect!
