10" x 2-1/4" Passenger's-side electric trailer brake assembly fits 4,400-lb axles manufactured after May 2009. Mounting flange has a 4-bolt pattern. Fits 13" to 15" wheels.

  • Electric brakes are easier to install and offer more user control than hydraulic brakes
    • Requires only an electric brake controller (sold separately) - no actuator or hydraulic lines necessary
  • Adjuster plugs (included) cover access holes to keep dirt and grime out of the assemblies and off of the shoes
  • Mounting bolts and hardware included
  • Made in the USA

  • Application: most standard hub-and-drum assemblies, including Dexter
    • Does not work with Lippert 4,400-lb axles due to clearance issues with the brake mounting flange

Exactly as described. Fits Dexter 4,400 pound axle perfectly. Had to loosen right side brake shoes to get hubs to slide on.

Installed on Camper and still working perfectly! Took the wheels apart to check and re-pack bearings, and everything was good with the breaks.

The backer plate/brake assy is right, price is right and once again etrailer shipped the day of order and I had the part in 3 days. That's a BIG attaboy.

I am very pleased with Etrailer and once again this purchase arrived quickly and correctly as expected.
I did notice the label said "never needs adjusting" whereas the item purchased is the lower cost model that does need adjusting. Just a heads up on that.

    The title of these Dexter electric brakes does read for a 4,400 lb axle, but they will fit - and work - with the 10" drum on a 4,000 lb axle like yours.     Looks like you have a longer equalizer setup on your 2015 Prime Time Lacrosse 318BHS but I would need the length of the equalizer to ensure we get you the correct replacement. We do have the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC314336 which appears to be what you are in need of. It measures 14-5/8 inches from the side holes and then 3-1/4 inches vertically so you'd need to measure yours to compare. This is a cushioned equalizer setup that will smooth out the ride quality of the trailer.
