Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the extended bolt for your Stay-In-Play and Air Force One braking systems. This bolt is either going to be a replacement or a substitute for the original bolt that came with your Air Force One or a Stay-In-Play duo supplemental braking systems. This extended bolt is going to make it much easier to connect your brake actuator to your brake pedal, if you have a wider brake pedal. So you can see this bolt is right at, I'm going to call it two and three eighths of an inch in length.
Put that up there, so you can see that a little bit better, right about two and three eights of an inch, whereas our original bolts on our actuator, only about one and a quarter of an inch.So this replacement longer bolt is going to give us quite a bit more room to accommodate those longer, or wider, brake pedal arms on to ensure that we can get our actuator mounted in place correctly. Now, this is just going to come with the one bolt so you will need four of them to get your actuator mounted on evenly, so keep that in mind. But this is going to do a good job of extending that actuator mounting plate out, so that it will mount onto those wider brake pedals. That's going to complete our look for today. This was needed with my 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk, but the kit already came with them so I did not need to order these.
We have a fiat 500 and needed the extra length because of the brake pedal arm width. Worked as designed.
These items do the job they were intended for!
Not much of a part, but got what I wanted and it fit the bill.
