Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the replacement DC solenoid for ComeUp winches. This is going to work for DV2500I, DV3500I, and DV4500I winches. This is going to replace one of the two solenoids that come standard in your winch. The basic function of this is that the solenoid will transmit power from your vehicle's battery to the winch motor. One solenoid would power the winch when you're paying out the rope, and the other is going to power the winch when you're winding the rope in.They normally are permanently mounted inside the hard plastic winch housing, so that they're protected from rain, dust, or debris. But if you need to replace one, that's where this comes into play.

It'll just mount right up and replace that winch. Again, this is a direct replacement from ComeUp winch, so it should fit in there nicely.It has the nuts and spring washers for all those attachment points. Has the copper posts on the side, as well as in the back, as well as the two silver posts up top. The copper terminals, and stainless steel, and carbon steel hardware are also corrosion resistance, so you won't have to worry about those becoming damaged over time, just like your original. As far as the dimensions on this, our solenoid is going to be about 3-1/2 inches from the beginning of the bolt there to the back of the solenoid.It's going to be about 3-1/2 inches again from side to side on both those copper terminals there.

And that'll be about 2-1/2 inches tall to the top of those silver posts. The attachment points are going to be from the center of that slot to the center of the other about 2-1/2 inches. So that gives you an idea of the size on this to make sure that it is going to be a fit, but again that does fit with your DV2500I, DV3500I, DV4500I winches. So it should work out just fine to replace that blown solenoid.That's going to do it for our look at the replacement DC solenoid for ComeUp winches.
