Today we're going to be reviewing part number C58761. This is the Curt Trailer and Vehicle 4-Pole Flat Cover Set. This will allow you to protect both connection points, both the vehicle end and the trailer end. It's going to protect the connection points from rust and corrosion. It's really going to do a good job when it comes to keeping out any type of dust or moisture from settling into your connection points. These are going to be made from a black rubber construction. Right here it's going to feature a loop end on each connection protector.
This is going to go around the wire bundle or other secure location. That way, the cover's always going to stay close to the connection point that it fits or needs to be covering up. Really simple covers to use. You can see here that it simply just slides over the connection point. You're going to push it all the way on the connection point until you get a nice, tight, secure fit. You can see how that would protect it from any type of dirt or moisture being able to get in there. Now again, the loop end can go around the wire bundle.
That way, the cover's always going to stay close to the connection point that it's designated for. That's going to do it for our review of part number C58761. This is the Curt Trailer and Vehicle 4-Pole Flat Cover Set. .

If you didn't get a connector cover when you wired you vehicle, then this set includes the connector covers for both the vehicle and trailers ends.

I have a tow dolly to use with a motor home so the dolly sits in a storage area for extended periods of time. Without covers, the plugs that connect lights on the dolly to the lights on the car mounted on the dolly become corroded and home to tiny spiders. These covers do an excellent job of protecting the plugs, keeping them clean and ready to go. I recommend this product.

These Curt covers were not as well designed
and functional as the cover that came with my
Curt wiring harness kit. The cover for the Trailer
connector didn’t cover very well and both covers
did not attach to the Trailer and Vehicle wires well .

I ordered a spare tire for my utility trailer. I ordered a Westlake ST175/80R13 radial tire on a silver mod wheel. This is actually the tire that i already have on my trailer. The ease of selection was excellent, walking me through the size and style. I placed the order and within an hour i received an email that my order had already shipped (i only selected normal ground shipping). I order the tire on a Tuesday night and the tire was at my house on Thursday. The tire was exactly what i had wanted. Just all around easy, excellent service. This produce is advertised to fit as a protective cover for a 4 plug trailer hitch cover, both truck and trailer end. the truck end is too small and will not fit over the existing plug to provide protection. this is the second item I purchased for this purpose and neither worked.

they would be perfect if the button loop was longer like others have said. I used a heat gun to stretch it out a bit, kind of worked. you could zip tie through hole.

The 4-Pole Hardwire Kit with Circuit Tester # 18252 you were looking at does not include a dust cover, but I recommend adding the Curt Trailer and Vehicle 4-Pole Flat Cover Set # C58761 which fits tightly over the connector keeping mud and dirt from getting in the connector.
