Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the CURT brake control harness. Now this harness is designed to plug right into our OEM port under our dash and then directly into our CURT brake controller. This eliminates the need for cutting or splicing any of our factory wiring. Now this is going to be overall about 24" long. It's a little bit over that with the plugs attached. It's loaded with 12-gauge wire.

You've got your black, your blue, your red and your white. Those are going to be the same colors that are on all of our brake controllers out there.This has been designed to work with the Dodge Ram full size trucks from 1995 to 2009, the Dakota from 1997 up to 2011 as long as it has the factory tow package. Same with the Durango, as long as it's go through the factory tow package, it's going to work from 1998 up to '09, and with the Aspen with factory tow package, from 2007 to '09.Now it also has a split-loom wire loom on it that you can see there. That helps to give you a nice tidy look. You don't get that on all of the harnesses available.

They've also provided a couple of zip ties just to make our installation easier. Now this does include a one-year warranty. It's going to take you just a few minutes to get it installed. With that plug, it's going to go in directly underneath your dash. Really not going to have to worry about it.Now if you're using a different type of brake controller, since these are color matched to what your brake controller is going to have on the back, let's say you already have one at home, you could simply butt connect those right together, plus this into your dash, and that brake controller will work fine as well.

You could use it for not only the CURT but a few additional brake controllers out there on the market. That should complete our look at the CURT brake control harness.
