So this is going to be that connecting piece that allows you to remove it, and then remove the head of your fifth wheel so it makes it a little bit lighter, easier to transport, take in or out of your truck. So if something happened to it, maybe you misplaced it whenever you went to take those two pieces apart. Whatever the case might be, this is going to be a direct replacement from CURT to get you rolling again with your fifth wheel.So let's take a closer look. I'll give you some measurements just for reference, but it should work for any of your CURT A16 fifth wheel hitches.
The complete list of part numbers for that is listed out on our product page here at etrailer.com, so if you want to cross-reference with that, it's not a bad idea.But as far as the length of the pin going from the very end to kind of the head here, it's about seven inches. If we go from the center of the attachment point or the locking point, it's about six and a half. Now there would be a clip or a cotter pin that would go in here. That does not come with it. It's just going to be this center pin, so you will have to replace that on your own, or just reuse what you had before.
The total length of the pin is about 10 inches, and the diameter of that pin is about one and three eighths.That's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the replacement center pin for your CURT A16 fifth wheel hitches.
