Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the replacement center pin for your Curt fifth wheel hitch. So this is going to be that pin that allows you to remove the head assembly on your fifth wheel to make it a little easier to get that in or out of your truck. So if something happened to that, set it aside somewhere, it rolled off, maybe got damaged in the process. This is a direct replacement from Curt to get you rolling again with your fifth wheel.So let's take a little closer look, we'll give you some measurements just for reference to make sure that this is the right one for you. So again, this does work with your Curt fifth wheel hitch, specifically the A25 and the part numbers that that will correspond to are listed out on our product page here at etrailer.com.
So if you want to look there, you can double check with those numbers. So at the end we'll have our spot for that cotter pin to go in, kind of as our safety mechanism, to make sure that this doesn't move in transit. Now it does not come with that, so you will either need to reuse the old one or pick up a new one separately. But the pen again just goes in the center, that allows it to hold the head to the hitch body itself.As far as length again, just giving you these for reference, it's about six and a quarter inch long from the very end to the edge here from our cotter pin, it's about six inches from the center of that hole to the same spot overall about nine and a quarter inch long. And the diameter is right about an inch.
