Used your product because Haul master wouldn't replace my worn U bolts. I would not recommend Haul master to anyone. Go with Curt and etrailer!

You will want to allow the chain to move in the U-bolt. The reason the nuts are lock nuts is because of this. You want the lock nuts to engage on the U-bolt so that they won't come off but not to point it restricts any movement.

Actually bought the chains as a back-up as the originals are showing a bit of wear. Have not had to use them yet.
