Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Buyers Products Conduit Carrier Kit. This kit lets you create a conduit carrier for your ladder rack. That way you can securely carry loose rods, pipes, and conduit.It's a universal design. It works with any truck bed ladder rack. We're looking at the cast aluminum construction. This one, right here, is the door, and it's built into one endcap, so we have our latch mechanism, right here, on the side, easily accessible.
That allows us to swing the door up, and get whatever out of the tubing or the piping that we need to.The door has a latching mechanism. It's spring loaded. And then internally, it has a rubberized foam gasket to create a water-resistant seal when the door's closed. And then right here, it has the pre-drilled tab, which allows you to add a lock and secure the contents of your piping. Padlock is sold separately and available at etrailer.com.
Overall, it's a really nice design.The other end, this is just a standard cap. No door on that one.It also comes with your U-bolts. These attach the conduit case to your truck rack cross bars. We're looking at a durable cast aluminum construction. The actual U-bolt is a plated steel to resist rust and corrosion.This does require a 6" diameter PVC pipe, schedule 40 or 80, not included, and then you can customize the length to meet your own needs.
The caps are designed to secure to the PVC pipe with either pop rivets or screws. Hardware not included. And then, you will need to drill two 3/8" diameter holes in each ladder rack cross rail for the U-bolts and the saddles.That's going to do it for today's look at the Buyers Products Conduit Carrier.
