Today we're going to take a look at the replacement cap and saddle with the sleeve for the Valterra adjustable sewer hose carrier. It's for a quantity of one. Now this will replace the cap and the saddle that's on your Valterra adjustable sewer hose carrier. The cap and saddle portion will install onto ends of that carrier. It opens to allow you to install the sewer hose into the carrier, and it closes to keep the hose in the carrier. The saddle portion, which is this portion here with the mounting bracket on it, this allows you to mount the ends of the carrier to your RV.
See the mounting holes here Now, the hardware to install this is not included. The sleeve portion, right here, this will allow you to connect the cap and the saddle to the carrier itself. You can see it as a black color. It is for a quantity of one cap and saddle, and one sleeve. And it isn't made...
These parts are made in the USA.Give you a few dimensions on this. We're going to measure the saddle portion first. The outside diameter end to end is going to be right at five inches. Inside diameter is right at four and three quarter inches, and the depth on it.. It's going to be right one and a quarter inches deep.
The mounting bracket on the top is going to be six inches long, and the depth from that is going to be right at one and one eights inches. Now on the sleeve itself, the overall diameter will be right at four and five eights inches. The inside diameter is four and a half inches, and the width on the sleeve is right at two inches.And again, this would install into the saddle and allow you to install this into the hose carrier. You can see on the cap, it has this lever here that'll unlock it. You can open it up, it's a hinge door.
And then when you close it, push it down that'll, hold it into place. They do have a hole in here, about a five sixteenths diameter hole, but if you want, you could put a padlock through there to secure it. But again, just pull it open like that and then close it. That should do it for the review on the replacement cap and saddle with the sleeve for the Valterra adjustable sewer hose carrier..

This worked perfectly. I’d installed a valterra dump hose holder and the cover broke. I thought I would have to replace the whole tube, which would’ve been a total pain. I found this and it was easy, just cutoff the old one and glue the new one on.
Exact replacement
I’m in Canada and have order parts for my RV several times from etrailer. Their service and shipping is always prompt. The prices are fair but they get hung up in USA & Canada Customs
The cap did not fit the pipe under my trailer. Fortunately I had a 4” piece of ABS from Home Depot that it did fit.
As advertised. Had no problem with installation of replacement cover supplied.
Obvious weak point is in the design of the nipples on which the cover swings open and shut. User must be aware that the nipples break easily when opening and closing door.
Excellent item. After a few years the hinges and latch break and/,or break. Just normal wear and tear. I suggest carrying a spare.

This is a perfect fit for my old gate that I lost on a trip.
To install, you need to cut off the remainder of the old gate, as they are glued on.
This shortens the tube, making it slightly weaker in the middle. There is enough length remaining that I do not expect a problem
When i ordered this from etrailer, they were out of stock.
Etrailer called me to let me know when the new inventory would arrive, and followed up letting me know when it came in, with projected delivery date.

Were perfect. Exactly what I needed to replace the original ends. Original ends were glued on but I was able to get them off with minimal damage.
Would recommend and would purchase again if needed.
Very happy with the produce. Due to low clearance of our rv the caps were broke off, Ordered replacement cap and saddle for both ends, would be nice if you could order just the caps, But cap and saddle was cheaper the ordering new EZ hose carrier.

The item works well, but I have the hinges are weak, be careful when opening and closing. Have had to replace a couple due to the hinges breaking.

This product is great I use it when dumping waste tanks. I have been pleased with all of purchases from etrailer.
The product was exactly as ordered. Fits great. It is an inexpensive repair for my sewer hose holder.
I am pleased with this purchase. The package arrived within a week (and I live in Alaska). My son was able to quickly and easily replace just the cap. The van is all set for the long winter and I’ll be ready to go when Spring rolls around :)
Product looks good. Replacing door only. Did not need full coupling. Still has plastic pins on the hinge.
