Today, we're going to take a look at the Bulldog winch OE replacement three prong female plug and wiring harness for the standard series truck winches. This is an OE replacement winch-mounted female plug and wiring harness for the hand controller on the Bulldog truck standard series winches. Again, it's designed to fit the three prong push-in plug Bulldog hand controllers. The male end plug-in on the controller will plug in to this female plug on the winch and allow you to operate your winch from a distance. This plug and harness will attach to the solenoid on the winch, using these medium loop connections on the end of these three wires. And if you notice, it also includes this integrated dust cap that you can protect terminals on the plug when it's not being used.That should do it for the review on the Bulldog winch OE replacement three prong female plug wiring harness for the standard series truck winches..

Item is what I ordered. Have not got a chance to install it yet. Only complaint is that it did not come with installation instructions.

This was the correct part as it replaced the broken connector and was a perfect match for the SuperWinch 8500LP. The various product pictures provided on this website were a great help.

Still working great a year later. Used it on a different brand winch so wire colors were different but simple to figure out since wires come out directly behind the corresponding pin.

The product was shipped same day as I ordered it. I live in Alaska so that's not normal. It also got here in like 3-4 days also not normal since most companies send it to us sail mail. - Difference Between Replacement Female Bull Dog Winch Connectors BDW20178D BDW20178A BDW20178C The difference is the style of connector that is on each of the wires. The part # BDW20178C uses a small loop ring terminal, the part # BDW20178A uses a medium size ring terminal and the part # BDW20178D uses spade connectors.

If your controller has 3/8" prongs and your solenoid looks like the one I have pictured then this female plug will work well for your Badlands 12000 lb winch.

- Is There a 4-Pole Female Wiring Connector Like the 3-Pole Bulldog WinchThe Bulldog Winch plug you referenced, part # BDW20178A, is specifically for their winches and we don't have a 4 pole version of it. If you're looking for a 4-pole trailer female connector you can use part # PK11402 which doesn't have the wire leads on it but you can add as much of part # DW03240-1 as you need since it's sold by the foot.
