Remote Plug Extender for Bulldog Winch Standard Series Winches - 5 Prong Connector - 3' Long

This winch port extension is nearly exactly what I was looking for. The extension is well designed and the middle junction allows it to be fed through the appropriate sized hole. My intentions for this item were to utilize it to extend the control port for my Smittybilt XRC 9500 externally through my lower grille shroud on my truck. Perfect fit for my winch, even though it wasn't listed for it. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because 3 foot is a little short for my needs. I would appreciate seeing this item offered in various lengths, as 3 foot may be perfect for someone, but in my case I had to keep the port on the passenger side because I needed about 4.5 feet to put it on my driver side where I ideally wanted it.707392

This is a relatively common pin plug that I used on my Smittybuilt X series winch. Smittybuilt, Bulldog and several other brands will interchange with this extension.
They are probably all made by the same manufacturer so that's a plus when shopping for accessories. My winch is in a tight spot in the bumper so having the availability of this 3ft extension was priceless. Access is now under the hood and out of the elements. Easy access when the winch controller is needed which will probably be in bad weather. If this wasn't available it would have been very difficult to plug in the winch controller when the bumper is covered in snow and ice. This was a great choice to fix a simple solution to the winch control box location. It works perfectly and I would highly recommend it!686766
