Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement handheld remote for the Bulldog BDW 10012 off road winch. This remote is designed to fit the Bulldog heavy duty series off road winch, part number BDW 10012, which we do sell separately on our website. This is a nice black plastic hand held remote. It has a 15 foot lead and let's you operate your winch from a nice safe distance. Has a weather resistant switch which will power the load in and out and it even says in and then out on the toggle switch, and they do light up on whichever ones they push in, it'll light up in that position. On the other end of the cord, has a four prong plug to plug into the winch, but that should do it for the review on the replacement handheld remote for the Bulldog BDW 10012 off road winch..

We have a flat bed car hauler trailer with a Bull Dog winch from Harbor Freight Tools. This winch was discontinued by HF for a different style & mfg so when the remote control switch died there wasn't one available from HF,(which is typical of them, not very good on product support), so we searched the Net and found a replacement from ETrailers that worked great and was a better quality then the OEM. Only quirk was the directionals were the opposite but easy to overcome. Thanks to Etrailer we can continue to use our winch.
Works great for what we needed. Controller has 3 wires with a 4 prong plug. Just FYI.

Still works great. We used this in a non- typical situation. But it works great.
